It has been a while. It has been good.

Yesterday, I went to the hospital to gather some medical records, flipping through pages of children who have undergone anorectal surgeries, typing the relevant information, hours and hours, came back with sore heels and cramped shin. It was both humbling and terrifying getting so much access for people I have never met, people who have spent the entirety of their early childhood getting multiple medical examinations and procedures. It was so much easier to think of these things instead of letting the anxiety and confusion for the data collection process get into my head.

I am finishing my last few months as a pre-clinical undergraduate student. I am now getting into the complexities of medical system, medical finance, medical storytelling, and health objectives. I am actually enjoying it to the point that it has been a shame realizing I would not actually have much time dwelling with this for as long as I could, not when I have an abundance of worries on my plate. I would love to learn how not to be this way.

Wish me luck. At least with a few more hours of sleep every night, I might avoid being insane.
